Use your normal work socks and the boots you will actually wear. For safety footwear, check the manufacturer’s and employer’s replacement-insert requirements first.
Check the original liner.
Remove it only if it is designed to come out. Compare its length and width with your new insole; do not force out a bonded liner.
Leave room under the toe cap.
Your toes should not feel crowded. Added height beneath the foot can change the room under a safety toe cap.
Check heel and arch contact.
Your heel should remain secure. The raised contour should meet your arch comfortably, without a sharp pressure point.

Will these fit my specific boot brand?
A brand name or labelled shoe size is not enough to confirm fit. Compare the removable liner, then check the new insole in your exact boot model with your work socks.
Should I trim the support base?
No. Follow the size guide and trim only the forefoot as directed. Keep the heel and support frame intact.
Can I keep my original liner underneath?
If the original liner is removable, replace it rather than automatically stacking another insert over it. Extra layers can reduce toe room and lift the heel.
