An insole is one part of the decision.

Plantar fasciitis often causes discomfort beneath the heel, particularly after rest. Supportive shoes and inserts can form part of care, alongside activity adjustments and other measures chosen for the person. A condition name alone does not identify the right insole. These general recommendations do not establish that PerseveranX treats plantar fasciitis.

Two jobs beneath your foot.

The cushion softens contact beneath the heel and forefoot. The shaped frame supports the arch and cradles the heel. Embrace gives this combination a gently yielding, low-bounce feel; the support underneath remains defined.

Our current collection uses a high-arch shape. Choose it only when that contour meets your foot comfortably. A sharp pressure point is not a sign of stronger support, and a softer surface cannot make the wrong arch shape fit.

Check the shape as carefully as the softness.

Make these three checks before a long day.

Arch contact

With both shoes on, check that the curve sits beneath your arch without a concentrated lump or painful pressure.

Heel position

Your heel should sit securely in the shoe, without rubbing higher against the collar after the insert is fitted.

Room to move

Remove the original liner only if it is designed to come out. Check toe room with your usual socks; do not stack inserts to chase more cushioning.

Choose by feel, then confirm in your shoes.

Consider Embrace if you want softer contact with little spring. If you prefer a different sensation, the five-feel comparison explains the alternatives without ranking their treatment effectiveness. Check current size availability on the product page.

Take a short, comfortable first walk rather than testing a new fit through an entire shift. Pause if pressure or discomfort increases. For shoes that are already tight, or an arch contour that feels intrusive, choose a different fit rather than forcing this one.

When shopping should wait.

Arrange medical advice for severe or worsening pain, symptoms that limit normal activities, or pain that is not improving after two weeks of self-care. Tingling, reduced sensation, or foot pain with diabetes also need individual assessment.

NHS — Plantar fasciitis

Is a high arch always better for plantar fasciitis?

No. The support needs to meet your foot comfortably. All five PerseveranX models share a high-arch support concept; changing the cushioning feel does not turn it into a lower-arch option.

Should I choose the softest model?

Choose the feel you enjoy after checking shape and shoe space. Softness alone does not establish whether an insole suits your symptoms or care plan.

Can I keep using a prescribed orthotic?

Follow your clinician’s fitting advice. Do not stack or replace a prescribed device simply to add cushioning; ask whether a different liner or shoe is appropriate.

How do I choose between Embrace and Plush?

Embrace has a softly contouring, low-bounce feel. Plush combines soft cushioning with a springier return. Both use a high-arch shape, so check comfortable arch contact and shoe space before choosing by feel.

Should I remove my original insoles?

If the original liner is designed to come out, replace it instead of stacking. Check the new pair with your usual socks, paying attention to toe room and heel position. Do not force out a glued-in liner.

Can I return a pair after trimming or wearing it?

Yes. You have 60 days from delivery to try the pair, even if worn or trimmed. We provide a prepaid return label. Each separately delivered pair has its own window. See our return policy.

What if the arch feels too high?

A concentrated lump or painful pressure is not a sign of better support. Stop using a fit that increases discomfort. Our current models share a high-arch profile; changing the cushion does not make the arch lower.
