A lively rebound.
A difference you can see.
First, see the dents in the EVA reference. Then compare the rebound marks: the green Bouncy material reaches the highest mark in this demonstration. Finally, inspect its surface after impact.

Cushion the landing.
Feel the spring.
Bouncy gives under the impact of your step, then springs back as you lift off. That combination puts cushioning and a lively response beneath your run.
Cushion each landing.
The material compresses under impact, cushioning contact beneath your heel and forefoot.
Feel the return.
A more pronounced rebound brings a springy sensation to your stride. Choose it when you enjoy a responsive feel underfoot.
Keep the cushioning coming.
The open-cell cushioning recovers between contacts and resists lasting compression, helping preserve its feel through repeated wear.
Morning runs, training sessions and brisk walks—when you want cushioned contact with a noticeable spring.
CUSHIONING + SUPPORT
Soft on your feet.
Solid under your arch.
A cushioned feel and a firm foundation, in the same insole. Your foot meets the comfort layers. The frame beneath them supports your arch and cradles your heel.

WHEN THE CONTACT FEELS TOO HARD

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Will the arch feel hard or push into my foot?

You should feel supported, not a sharp pressure point. Bouncy puts approximately 0.16 in (4 mm) of responsive cushioning above the comfort layer and firm frame, so your foot does not sit directly on hard support. You may notice the raised arch. If the contour presses uncomfortably, stop and reassess the fit.
I already have good running shoes. Why change the insoles?

Keep the running shoes you like. Bouncy changes the layer directly beneath your foot, adding its springy cushioning, arch contour and deep heel cup. Your shoe’s midsole still provides its own cushioning; Bouncy changes how your foot meets the shoe.
Will the cushioning flatten out?

The recovery is part of why we chose this cushioning. Watch the impact demonstration, then look at the surfaces the presenter holds up. Material compression testing also checks how much deformation remains after loading and recovery. Check your pair for wear and changes in feel as you use it.
Will they make my shoes tight?

They can if your shoes do not have enough room. Replace the original insoles when they are designed to come out. Compare their length and width, then check toe room and heel seating before trimming. Leave fixed linings in place and use a roomier shoe if needed.
Can I use Bouncy if I have heel pain or plantar fasciitis?

Cushioned inserts and orthoses can be part of care for plantar fasciitis. Bouncy offers cushioning and shaped support, but it has not been clinically tested as a treatment for this condition. If you have ongoing heel pain, ask a clinician whether its support profile suits your needs before running in it.
