Two insoles can look similar and feel different underfoot. The difference is not just how soft the top feels when you press it with a thumb. Cushioning response, rebound and the support shape all contribute to the experience inside a shoe.
The same foundation, five feels
Every current PerseveranX model has a ribbed textile top, approximately 0.16 in (4 mm) cushioning layer, contoured EVA base and TPU support with a 35mm high-arch profile. The EVA base is approximately 0.04 in (1 mm) beneath the forefoot and thicker at the heel. The layer measurements are not a claim that the entire shaped insole is 5mm thick everywhere.
- Embrace: soft contouring with a lower-rebound feel.
- Bouncy: a springier, responsive feel.
- HoneyComb: impact-responsive cushioning that responds differently to ordinary loading and quicker impacts.
- Fusion: firmer cushioning with less sink than Embrace.
- Plush: soft cushioning with elastic spring-back.
Softness and support are different choices
Choosing a softer feel does not give you a lower arch. Choosing Fusion does not give you a thinner insole. All five use the same stated layer thicknesses and high-arch profile, so choose by preferred feel and check the fit in your shoes.
What a material description cannot tell you
A response described for cushioning material is not a clinical result for a finished insole. We do not turn it into a promised percentage of pain relief, a guaranteed lifespan or a claim that the product will never compress.
The useful test is the complete fit: remove the original liner, compare the dimensions, seat the heel and check arch contact. A premium material still needs to be in the right shoe for you.
